Bayesian Inference of Strange Star Equation of State Using the GW170817 and GW190425 Data

The observations of compact star inspirals from LIGO/Virgo provide a valuable tool to study the highly uncertain equation state (EOS) dense matter at densities in which stars reside. It is not clear whether merging are neutron or quark containing self-bound matter. In this work, we explore allowed bag-model-like EOSs by assuming strange (SQSs) Bayesian analysis employing tidal deformability observational data GW170817 and GW190425 binary mergers. We consider two extreme states matter, either nonsuperfluid color-flavor locked (CFL) find results these cases essentially reconcile. particular, our indicate that sound speed SQS approximately constant close conformal limit $c/\sqrt{3}$. universal relations between mass, compactness provided for SQSs. most probable values maximum mass found be $M_{\rm TOV}=2.10_{-0.12}^{+0.12}~(2.15_{-0.14}^{+0.16})\,M_{\odot}$ normal SQSs $90\%$ confidence level. corresponding radius $1.4\,M_{\odot}$ $R_{\rm 1.4}= 11.50_{-0.55}^{+0.52}~({11.42}_{-0.44}^{+0.52})~\rm km$ $\Lambda_{1.4}= {650}_{-190}^{+230}~({630}_{-150}^{+220})$, respectively. also investigate possibility GW190814's secondary component $m_2$ $2.59_{-0.09}^{+0.08}\,M_{\odot}$ being an SQS, it could CFL with pairing gap $\Delta$ larger than $244~\rm MeV$ effective bag parameter $B_{\rm eff}^{1/4}$ range $170$ $192$ MeV,
